Improved package management

Exciting news! Ahead of our new Veello Theme release, we've enhanced package management for easier installation and updates in Contao Manager. Read more about this enhancement and update your setup now.

Package management just got easier

The Veello products are installable via Contao Manager and Composer keys. They are simple ZIP artifacts that require the correct packages in your setup. Up until now, the Veello packages were required indirectly and thus were hidden in the Contao Manager list. This caused a lot of confusion and was difficult to maintain.

Today, we are changing that. The Veello products will now be added directly to the list of your project packages and will appear on the Contao Manager list of packages. This change will improve the package update process and version management. You can read more about product versioning in the documentation.

The update is fairly simple but requires you to generate a new Composer key, which is a good practice in general. We have created a short video tutorial to guide you through the process.
