Veello Theme 2.3 is here

Veello Theme 2.3 has been released and is now fully compatible with Contao 5.7 LTS, providing a stable and future-ready foundation for modern projects. This update focuses on improved compatibility with the new backend interface, including refinements to JavaScript behavior, better integration with Stimulus, and a refreshed icon set aligned with the latest UI standards.

Compatibility with Contao 5.7 LTS

Veello Theme 2.3 is fully compatible with Contao 5.7 LTS and has been updated to align with the latest backend interface changes. Please note that Veello Theme 2.3 is available exclusively for Contao 5.7 and newer versions.

The update includes various technical improvements, refined JavaScript integrations, better Stimulus compatibility, and updated icons to match the current backend UI. These adjustments provide a more stable and future-ready foundation for new and existing projects running on Contao 5.7 LTS.

Support for Contao 5.3 LTS

For projects running older Contao versions such as 5.3, Veello Theme 2.2 will continue to receive security updates and essential bug fixes. Compatibility for Veello Theme 2.2 will be maintained for as long as Contao 5.3 remains supported according to the official Contao release plan. This ensures that existing installations remain stable and secure while giving you time to plan a structured upgrade path.

While maintenance support remains available for 2.2, upgrading to Contao 5.7 LTS together with Veello Theme 2.3 is recommended to benefit from long-term support, improved performance, and ongoing compatibility with the evolving Contao ecosystem.

Veello Portfolio Update

The Veello Portfolio extension has been updated to version 2.2 to ensure full compatibility with Contao 5.7. This update focuses on technical adjustments required by the latest backend interface and guarantees consistent behavior alongside the newest Veello Theme release.

What about Isotope eCommerce?

Support for Isotope eCommerce has not been released yet for this update cycle, which means the integration cannot be upgraded at this stage. Until Isotope eCommerce v3 becomes available, projects using Isotope should continue running on Contao 4.13 together with Veello Theme 1.4 to ensure stability and full compatibility.

As soon as an official compatible release of Isotope eCommerce is published, the necessary adjustments will be implemented and provided in a future update path for newer Contao versions.

How To Update

1. Create a full database backup before starting the update process.
2. Update your Contao version to 5.7 LTS.
3. Veello Theme and other extensions should update automatically during the Contao update.
4. Clear the cache and rebuild the application to apply changes.
