Veello Theme release 1.2.0

We have just released a new version of the Veello Theme tagged 1.2.0. The update adds support for the well-known shop solution Isotope eCommerce. To present its features, we released a new e-commerce theme! Continue reading to find out more.

New Theme: Shop One

Alongside the support for Isotope, we have created a brand new theme for your next e-commerce shop. The new theme is named Shop One and will be a perfect match for any store. You can preview the demo using the link below.

Header settings

The Design settings have been extended with two new Isotope features:

1. displaying cart in the header, and
2. displaying favorites in the header.

The favorites button is a simple link that will take your visitor to the page where they can collect products they like and order them later.

The cart will naturally show the number of products inside a visitor's cart. It can also optionally display the total amount of products inside the cart. Once clicked, a nice and modern slide-in panel will open, revealing the cart overview:

Individual buttons in each module

Styling buttons in Isotope is not an easy task to do, especially when you would like to have different styles for every button. With Veello Theme, it is super easy.

Every frontend module that uses buttons has a widget to individually define the appearance of each button. You can define the button style, an icon, and its position inside a button.

Because we use our Buttons component here, you can manage the button style settings in one place and re-use them wherever its possible.

Frontend modules

We have added Veello Theme features to almost all frontend modules Isotope eCommerce offers. The most essential feature that applies everywhere is custom styling using the Style presets. Some modules, like cart or product list/readers, have extra settings that will help you adjust the shop even more to your needs.

Code insights

This is probably the most significant feature of Veello Theme so far. It took us over 3 months and countless hours to develop. In total, we changed about 160 files in almost 90 commits.

Isotope extensions

We have other Isotope extensions in our store, that may be a nice addition to the standard features:

1. Isotope Last Visited Products - enabling visitors to your site to quickly and easily view and link back to the last product(s) they viewed.
2. Isotope Product Compare - configurable product comparison with a multitude of features from tailorable templates to extra preview modules.
3. Isotope Product Rating - offer your customers the option to rate your products.
4. Isotope Stock Management - offers an array of useful and intuitive features for your custom stock settings needs.

How to update my products?

Thanks to the Contao Manager, the update process of our products is super simple. All you need to do is to log in to Contao Manager and update the packages.
